Fertigation Technician

Our rapidly growing facilities demand skilled and talented people to help us expand and increase efficiencies throughout front and back-end operations. We’re seeking a Fertigation Technician whose role will be to check and maintain the fertigation rooms and all fertigation related equipment in our facility on a daily basis. The Fertigation Technician will report to management in the Cultivation Department to keep them aware of any potential issues that may arise.

• Must be 21+, with a valid State ID, and able to pass additional background screening.
• High level of integrity and a strong work ethic.

Required Skills:

• Cannabis industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Highly motivated and self-directed.
• Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the company.
• Prioritize cleanliness and organization.

Job Duties:

• Maintains irrigation and fertigation equipment in good working order.
• Clean and sanitize nutrient tanks, pumps, filters as needed.
• Check and log all systems, valves, and pumps daily (some twice daily)
• Monitor irrigation lines and fertigation tanks for leaks.
• Communicates to maintenance leaks in equipment, as needed for repair.
• Assists in maintaining inventory of nutrients used for feedings.
• Ensure all fertigation systems and components are clean and operating properly.
• Clean and sanitize nutrient tanks, pumps, filters as needed.
• Ensure fertigation tanks are filled adequately.

Work Experience:

• Commercial Cannabis industry experience.
• Basic experience working with irrigation systems, the related components, and familiar with hydroponic solution formulation.
• Experience working with automated feeding systems in the cannabis industry.

Education

• High school or equivalent (Required)
